It's frustrating not being able to win golf tournaments, not really being there in contention very often... but I know how close it feels and I know I just need a couple of shots here and there and it turns the tide, people don't really realize how close it is between a person who is winning( a tournament) and a person missing the cut.

To tell him that one rainy April day, before he even turns 40, he'll wake up to headlines about whether he's rising too quickly into becoming a top-tier contender for the American presidency. And to tell him that on that day he announces his campaign for president, he'll do it with his husband looking on.

Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.
