The state of the lake today is catastrophic and nearby lakes are affected too as they are all inter-connected.

Rivers, ponds, lakes and streams. They have different names but all contain water. Religions have different names, but all contain truth.

Where most developers would build and sell as many homes as possible, for greater profit, Kitson’s vision from the beginning was preserving most of the open space, now encompassing several lakes and 50 miles of bike trails. The homes run from $ 190,000 to about $ 499,000. Residents can work in the town, but are not required to do so. The fully completed footprint will eventually be 19,500 homes. We think about the way we develop differently …. It’s the most environmentally responsible, the most sustainable new town that’s ever been developed, and, it’s the first solar-powered town in America. And we’re very proud of that. In January, the first two people moved in. Now, there are 150 homes under contract with an expectation that will there will be 250 families moved in by December. Eight developers are now building homes. The vision is a unique creation of a 45,000-person small city. But first came the enormous solar farm. Syd Kitson gave the land to Florida Power Light for free, which then spent more than $ 100,000,000 installing all the panels, wires and storage batteries. That solar-generated power now is shared throughout FPL’s grid, as Babcock Ranch’s demand, at this point, remains very small. John Woolschlager, an urban planningprofessor at nearby Florida Gulf Coast University, said all cities canultimately follow Babcock Ranch’s model, but Florida Gulf Coast University will take years. Babcock Ranch’s huge advantage was that Babcock Ranch huge advantage’s being built from scratch with theself-sustainability and pro-environment philosophy on the ground first.

It's already hard to explain rivers or lakes based on the information we have, this makes a difficult problem even more difficult.

One of the things that we noticed which was quite interesting was that these lakes are actually, in some cases, warming faster than the air temperatures because the air temperatures, you know, change in an instant, whereas the water temperatures, they reflect what is going on in the entire environment around them. So, it could be a reflection of there being less cloud cover, it could be a consequence of more glacial melt water coming into the lake. All these different processes taking place and they integrate them and they warm more gradually but the consequences of that warming can be very serious.

Because K. brevis cannot tolerate low-salinity waters for very long, blooms usually remain in salty coastal waters and do not penetrate upper reaches of estuaries, however, other harmful algae, including cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), typically bloom in freshwater lakes and rivers.

Let our country -- our nation's citizens, our Ohio Democratic, my fellow elected officials all over the country -- let them all cast their eyes toward the heartland, to The Midwest, to our Great Lakes state, and we will show America how we celebrate organized labor and all workers - the waitress in Dayton, the office worker in Toledo, the nurse in Columbus, the mineworker in Coshocton. That is the message coming out of Ohio in 2018, and that is the blueprint for our nation in 2020.

Do not always run away from the darkness! Remember the beautiful lakes which are hidden inside the dark caves! In the least expected places, there exist the most beautiful treasures!
