It makes us sound very hypocritical in countries where were trying to help them develop the same kinds of moral, ethical military behavior that we try to model, i think in many ways it encourages our enemies, enemy combatants, to behave in a similar form. It is not hypocritical to use fossil fuels in order to try to get ourselves off of fossil fuels, particularly since this is simply unavoidable!

To opponents of the President's policies, the best way to limit what he can do to show that America is not as coarse, as mean, as hypocritical as his behavior suggests, the best solution is to win elections, that is a far more productive way to channel the legitimate frustrations with the President's policies than harassing members of his administration.
